Addition of a 2005 DAEWOO Puma Series 700 LM CNC Turning Center

Minneapolis, Minnesota: Kurt Manufacturing has expanded its contract machining capabilities and capacity with the addition of a DAEWOO Puma Series 700 LM CNC Turning Center.

To help its customers stay competitive, Kurt Manufacturing is continuously looking for ways to improve their equipment and stay ahead of the industry. With the addition of the DAEWOO Turning Center Kurt has brought a new level of quality, speed, and precision to the their already impressive offering. The Puma turning center has a 35-inch turning diameter and a maximum turning length of 126 inches (10.5 ft). The spindle speed is an impressive 1,500-rpm’s and the machine has an x-axis travel of 18.5 inches and y-axis travel of 128 inches. The 12 live tooling stations will add flexibility to Kurt Manufacturing by reducing total production time and incorporating secondary operations into a single set-up.
