Born out of manufacturing expertise, now a fitness-industry leader

Back in the mid-90s, Kinetic by Kurt started out manufacturing trainer frames for the original owners of Cycle-Ops. After Cycle-Ops went bankrupt in 1999 and was subsequently bought by Graber, Kurt Kinetic, left with inventory and tooling and armed with knowledge about leaking resistance units, decided to apply its precision manufacturing expertise to building stationary bike trainers. The resulting design was so innovative it received a patent for its leak-proof fluid resistance and is still part of the brand's lineup of fluid-resistance trainers.

Kinetic is known for providing the most realistic ride and best quality of any fluid trainer and as an innovator with the industry-first Rock and Roll Trainer, the only bike trainer that offers free-movement from side to side while riding. Kinetic continues to move further into the electronically-controlled, interactive-trainer realm with app-controlled products like the Kinetic Rock and Roll | Control trainer.
