Kurt Manufacturing is an employee-owned company with a competitive benefits package that gives employees the flexibility to choose the benefits that are right for them. Eligible employees are offered a variety of benefit options including:

Medical, Dental, and Vision

Kurt offers a comprehensive high deductible health plan to full-time employees through PreferredOne. This health plan offers 100% coverage for preventive services and preventive prescription medications. Employees covered under the health plan are also covered under a base critical illness and accident benefit. Kurt also offers two dental plans (a base and buy-up option) and a vision plan.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

Employees who are enrolled in the medical plan are eligible to contribute pre-tax dollars to an HSA, which is a personal savings account employees can contribute into to pay for current and future health care expenses. Kurt offers a matching contribution.

Critical Illness and Accident Insurance

Kurt provides all employees covered under the health plan with basic critical illness and accident insurance. Employees have the option of contributing to a buy-up option for themselves and their eligible dependents.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Employees may choose to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for dental and vision expenses (Limited-Scope Flexible Spending Account) or dependent daycare or eldercare expenses (Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account).

Retirement Programs

ESOP

Kurt Manufacturing is a 100% employee owned company. The Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is designed to reward long service by providing employees with a retirement benefit that the Company fully contributes to. Kurt also allows employees to contribute a 401(k) and/or Roth(k) account.

Disability Benefits

Employees are able to enroll in a short-term disability benefit that provides partial income in the event of an absence from work due to an illness, injury (non-work related), or pregnancy, and are under the care of a physician. Kurt also provides a company-paid long-term disability benefit that has a “buy-up” option employees can elect.

Life Insurance

Voluntary group term life insurance, accidental death and/or dismemberment and whole life insurance are available to employees and their eligible dependents.

Paid Time Off

Kurt Manufacturing offers paid time off, holidays and other time off.
