In 2023, Kurt Manufacturing will be funding six $1,000.00 scholarships and the Kuban family will be funding two $1,000.00 scholarships in Kurt and William Kuban’s names.
Application Criteria:
- Must be a dependent son, daughter, grandchild, stepchild or step grandchild of any Kurt employee, who will have one or more years of service with the company by 12/31/23.
- Must have at least a “B” average during the school year.
- Must show evidence of registration to an undergraduate college or university, community college or vocational school.
- Must be a full time student.
- Application deadline is July 7, 2023. No applications will be processed after that date.

Scholarships are awarded to the students with the highest scores based on their personal essay, work experience, school and community activities, awards and honors, and transcripts.

If an applicant is attending college for a 5th year and has received a scholarship for each of the prior four years, preference will be given to applicants that have not received four scholarships previously.
Only one scholarship will be awarded per employee’s family per year when there are more applications submitted than scholarships available. Winners will be determined through an in-house process.
